Ch : Chain

FR: Foundation Row

FP :Forward Pass

RP: Return Pass

YO: Yarn Over

TSS: Tunisian extended Front Post Simple Stitch

TFS: Tunisian Treble Stitch

Tunisian Special puff Stitch

Yarn:

C1: Color 1

C2: Color 2

C3: Color 3

TSS: Insert hook from right to left under front vertical bar of a stitch YO and pull up a loop

TSpPS: Tunisian Special puff Stitch: insert hook from right to left under front vertical bar of a stitch YO pull up a loop , YO and insert hook again into the stitch YO pull up a loop.(3 loops on hook from same stitch)

TTr: Tunisian Treble Stitch : YO the hook twice, insert hook under the stitch indicated , YO pull up a loop YO pull through 2, YO pull through 2

TEFPSS: Tunisian extended Front post Simple Stitch: insert the hook from right to left under the stitch indicated YO pull up a loop YO pull through one

Color Change on right edge: with 2 stitches remaining in RP, pick up the next color

Note 2: I have used Ganga Alisha : chain 38 ( even number + 2) 11.5” finished size

Have used 7 mm

If you are using any other yarn, other than that mentioned here, you will have to use 1 size bigger hook than recommended and the stitch count in even numbers + 2 edge sts) to suit the length

You will be required to test the gauge before working on the project

Please refer row by row while working,

Color change from right

Also adjust the number of FS and Rows as per your gauge to make a final square of 11.5/ 12”

Yarn:

Ganga Alisha : chain 38 (36+2) or as per your gauge to measure 11.5”/12”

Hook 7.00mm

1. With C1, Chain multiples of 2 +2 to measure 11.5” /12”

Foundation Row (The first Forward and Return Pass will create the foundation Row)

** For Foundation row you can cast on the stitches using 2 hooks à Link given

Forward Pass: Stick the hook into the back bump of second chain from the hook and pull up a loop. Continue across the chain, pulling up a loop in each back bump, leaving all loops on the hook.

At the end of the chain, you will have the same number of loops on the hook as chains that you started with.

Reverse pass: Yarn over and pull through one loop *Yarn over again and pull through 2 loops * Continue till you have one loop left on the hook

The remaining loop on the hook is the right edge stitch

For this pattern at the end of Foundation stitch change color in the right edge as specified

To start the next Forward Row always skip the front bar of the right edge stitch and begin with the second bar or the stitch mentioned (= first stitch) to pull up a loop)

Return Pass for puff stitches is worked into 4 loops

**Foundation Row: Work with C1, at the end of return pass ( at right edge change to C2)

Row 1: With C2 (color 2) *Skip one , TPuffS* Left edge stitch in the last Stitch – 18 puffs with C1

RP: Ch1, YO pull through 4, Ch1 YO pull through 4 till end

At the end Ch1 and YO ( you will have 2 loops on hook à change to C1

Row 2: With C1 (color 1) work TpuffS in the skipped stitches of FS work edge stitch and ch2 à 18 puffs with C2

RP: *YO pull through 4 loops, ch1* with 2 loops on end change to C3

Row 3: With C3 (color 3) ch1, *TFPESS around C1 Puff, TTr on horizontal bar of C2 puff* Repeat * * and end with Edge stitch, Ch2 à38 loops on hook

RP : Normal Return PASS Color change at Right edge to C2

Row 4: With C2, Ch1 and work a TSpPS into each of TFPESS

RP: Ch1, YO pull through 4, Ch1 YO pull through 4 till end

At the end Ch1 and YO ( you will have 2 loops on hook à change to C1

Row 5: With C1, Ch1 and work a TSpPS into the vertical bar of TTR locking the Ch space of C2

RP: Ch1, YO pull through 4, Ch1 YO pull through 4 till end Ch1 , Change to C3

Row 6: With C3 ( colour 3)ch1, *TFPESS around C1 Puff, TTr on horizontal bar of C2 puff* Repeat * * and end with Edge stitch, Ch2 à38 loops on hook

Repeat Row 4 to Row 6 for desired length

Last Row: With C1 TSS and normal RP

Binding off: Ch1 SC ( single crochet in each of the vertical bars till the end and then fasten off

SC Border on Right and Left sides is optional .
